A bronze George III third-issue halfpenny coin which has been polished on one side in order to produce a memento; on one side is the name Elizabeth Hordern, with the date 24th November 1827 (which was a Saturday) - the letters are of a relatively high standard, and the design has been emphasised by the application of a white substance; the other side has been left in its original, though very worn, state.
